Aggravated by all political events happening in the USA this year 2025, I desperately bury myself into books by women I’m inspired by and I look at paintings I admire. Books such as All We Can Save and Lead From The Outside by Stacey Abrams are featured along with We Should All Be Feminists by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. This painting wouldn’t be complete without an Artemisia Gentileschi reference and some loud colors to pull it all together. Color and feminist literature are what have been keeping me just a little bit sane
